I’ve taught IB Biology for 9 years, mostly with students taking HL who need sharper answers for Paper 2 and the option topics. I like working through genetics, evolution and IA design because that is where marks are often lost quietly. Lessons are usually a mix of syllabus recall, data questions and honest marking against the guide. I also spend time on command terms, since a “describe” answer and an “explain” answer should not look the same.

Hi, I’m a Biology tutor focused only on the IB course. I started tutoring while finishing my master’s and have stayed with it because I enjoy the detail of the syllabus. I’m especially good with cell biology, enzymes and IA planning, and I tend to use past-paper questions early rather than leaving them until the final month. Students usually come to me when their notes are fine but their exam answers still feel too general.
